About Us

Steve has roots at the University of Plymouth where he completed a degree in Hospitality Management.

He brings a wealth of wine knowledge to the table and an undeniable passion. This has led to Steve travelling, touring the vineyards of both Hampshire and East Sussex, along with his favourite – the Californian coast.

Steve is a busy family man; husband to Katie (who’s current favourite tipple is Pecorino) and proud father of his two curly tops, Maggie and Margot, who will no doubt enjoy his passion one day, too!

Christina (aka. Crin) joined the Camber Wines family back in April 2017.

After studying at Portsmouth High School through to Sixth Form, she then moved to London and received a degree in Anthropology at the University of East London. She started her wine career at Majestic Wine where she qualified with the WSET level 3 qualification and progressed from Trainee Manager to Store Manager within 3 years, this is where she found her passion for wine.

Having been a customer of abarbistro and Camber Wines for some time, Christina joined the team as she loved the prospect of working for a family run business with more focus on small independent wineries. This has allowed her to travel to the Rhone Valley and Tuscany to experience the wine production first hand and therefore personally select the wines that are on offer to you.

Camber Wines was born over ten years ago, stemmed from Dave and Karen’s passion for imbibing this pure liquid. They are the proud “Grand Fromages” of the family business portfolio.

Their business philosophy was built on their John Lewis Partnership early career roots;
VALUE/ASSORTMENT/SERVICE/HONESTY.

They have personally scoured the globe in pursuit of the best wines out there. Wine blending in the Barossa Valley to “Pigeage” (treading grapes) in Burgundy.

More recently their focus has shifted to Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol, as they indulge in their new favourite pastime, 4 amazing grandchildren.
